The business review process aims to improve the business viability of your enterprise through evaluating the risks and challenges that threaten short, medium or long-term survival by focusing on Coaching, Advice and Support on areas that will strengthen your financial performance.

This will take the form of exploring how income can be generated and growth achieved and what changes are required to secure strong position in the market.

We will concentrate our efforts on maximising your sales or minimising your costs by examining accounts if available and exploring measures to maximise profitability over the medium and long term.

The review will result in a short-written report making recommendations including a Readily Implementable Action Plan

Data will be collected via a Business Needs Assessment Questionnaire, and you will be interviewed via telephone, in person or Zoom/ Microsoft Teams.

Our approach integrates Consultancy Advice, Mentoring, and Coaching into a unified intervention known as Business Coaching, Advice, and Support (BCAS). This comprehensive process is designed to build trust and deliver critical business insights aimed at motivating and empowering you to take full responsibility for your future success.

Our goal is to guide you in securing the right support, exploring your options, and acquiring the knowledge needed to make informed decisions. We place strong emphasis on boosting your confidence, enabling you to make strategic, well-considered choices.

The BCAS process is tailored to foster a strong, collaborative relationship between you and the consultant, offering personalized support over short, medium, or long-term horizons to ensure continuous growth and development.

The Business Needs Assessment at M A Spooner Ltd is the initial step in their structured approach to providing business support and innovation. Here is how the process works:

  • Before any engagement begins, M A Spooner Ltd shares its Professional Code of Practice and Terms of Business with clients, ensuring both parties are clear on goals, responsibilities, and expectations.

  • Clients are required to fill out this form, providing detailed information about their business challenges, needs, and aspirations. The more comprehensive the responses, the better the team can tailor their support.

  • The completed form allows the team to conduct a thorough diagnostic assessment of the business. This helps them identify the key areas where the client needs support and highlights potential opportunities for growth and innovation.

  • Based on the assessment, We can create a customized, costed proposal that outlines the services and steps required to meet the client’s business objectives. This marks the start of their collaboration.

  • All information provided through the assessment is handled securely, protected by M A Spooner Ltd.’s Non-disclosure Agreement Policy and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Each session is approximately 60 minutes and will be held at a location agreed by both parties delivered by telephone, Zoom/Microsoft Teams. We aim to strengthen your ability to achieve your goals, translating your ideas into practical and concrete plans.

We aim to produce a documented action plan which records what you intend to do divided into short, medium or long-term Work Streams as part of a comprehensive business review report.

Before the sessions begin, we will sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement designed to protect your Intellectual Property Rights and comply with the Data Protection Act 2018 and preserve your confidentiality.

  • Project management is the application of processes, methods, skills, knowledge, and experience to achieve specific project objectives or deliverables constrained by the project acceptance criteria, a finite timescale, budget, or quality parameters.
